Hmm

Current song- Holler till you pass out 3oh!3

Current mood-Deceived

Current thoughts- Why does SIN have to be in this world? Its like it would be sooo much easier is God hadn't made it up but for him i guess its our ultimate test...Why do people have to lie cough cough and not be true friends as well as not tell you the truth

Me and Tom came to the conclusion that Women are the ultimate test for men

They were put here to test us and bare our children lol

yup

Humm Alot to say but i have to go fold laundry Peace

God Bless

what the heck? so now all women are are things that sit around, annoy men, and bear YOUR children? uh, hello. they're our kids too. WE'RE the ones who carry them for nine months. pfft. you incompetent fool. think where our civilization would be were it not for women (besides the child bearing fact). sleep on that tonight then get back to me. and don't you dare intimate that things would be running smoothly. i am personally offended by that post. hmph. now if men weren't here...jk.

wait...were you intimating anything in the true friend not telling the whole truth thing?

Kelsey no its like good thing

I mean thats not all women are here for chill

Im saying its a good thing they are here

because they test men

Kelsey said...

we're here for chill? what? and we "test men"? What exactly does that mean? If you mean that we test your purity, then you're implying that we're all skanks waiting to derail you? or test you in another way? test your domestic abilities perhaps...that's sexist also. or test you in some other way? (this is fun to kind of...i dunno. shake my finger at you about this)

if you've ever read like the first chapter of James, then you know that we're sposed to great trials as friends and that God sends trials to make us stronger, so really they're good! Besides Kelsey, try to tell us honestly you've never sinned or been tempted to sin because of a guy. Godd teamwork thomas! lol

Yay Kenz!!

Man im glad you understand lol

That just made me happy haha Thank Kenz!!

OK, Kenz. At what point did i say that i was free of sin here? Nobody is.Seriously, what does that even have to do with this discussion? And i wasn't rebutling the fact that people test each other. We're all tested - every day. But to say that women are here for the sole purpose of testing men is a little out there for me. Sorry if we don't see eye to eye on this.

TJsnider said...

Yea but i never said women are jst here for that!!

And you also didn't acknoledge any other qualities of ours. Whatever...i mean, alot of this i'm saying is for the sole purpose of debating, but my main point here was that i HATE it when guys make certian generalizations about women. I know you weren't trying to do that thomas, but that's how it came off to me.

OH MY GOSH THOMAS! Kelsey, I completely and totally agree with you. Honestly, what is it with men and thinking that women are horrible creatures who would like nothing better than to step all over some poor guy and rip him to shreds? I've heard that two or three times in the last few months, and I don't get it AT ALL. Are men just judgementally challenged or something? Because that's NOT TRUE. And I'm sorry, but since when is the only thing we're good for childbirth?

Kenz said...

he never said for the SOLE purpose! My gosh, it's just the most prominent purpose in his mind right now because I'm sure he can think of at least 2 girls who are totally...testing him. and yes, that probably does sound redundant.
generalizations are annoying. but what about the generalizations people make about guys? have you ever been to one of those christian women conventions when like this one 80 year old woman is telling you to puff up a guy and that every single girl should be a total doormat for a guy?! like, i know that "they're born to conquer" and stuff but they're still my friends!!! I'm not going to sit there and make them "pursue" me or something, I'm going to WALK RIGHT UP to whatever guy I want to! I mean, it's like the ladies who say that stuff think men are only here as a stumbling block to "compromise our purity". All men ever do is inhibit women and require them to wear nun's habits because they're wired so visually, so quips the ancient female.
I'm not feminist. there are OBVIOUSLY diferences between guys and girls, and for good reason (all you evolutionists- how did THAT happen, btw????), but that doesn't mean we should give in to the stereotypes and leave our God-given personalities at the starting line.
if you followed any of that, good job. :)

Yes! Thank you Katie! I knew i could count on you. And Kenz, i see that you're very passionate about the certain generalizations about guys you talked about. and i totally agree with you about that. but don't you see? you're passionate about that - and i'm passionate about this. it doesn't matter what kind of stereotype it is. all are wrong. you and i tend to see things in very different light...but please understand and respect my opions about this. you don't have to agree (how boring would the world be if everyone saw eye to eye on everything?, but just see what i'm saying here: i didn't agree with thomas' post. that's all i've been saying from the start. and look at all the comments thomas got from just a few sentences! good job my lad.

Kenz, I don't agree with you. I don't get the whole thing about the christian woman convention and the doormat stereotype. And what does this have to do with evolution?

Just as a sidenote, it cracks me up that it's the girls who are doing most of the arguing here :).

Kenz said...

well if we all just "evolved" from a bursting tiny spot, how did we end up with both girls and guys? and how ON EARTH did they end up fitting together so perfectly???

Unnatural Child #1 said...

What do you mean, "fitting together so perfectly"? And anyway, we have a pretty big gene pool, so I think that it's plausible that chance just happened to work in our favor. Billions of years is a long time to evolve. Just my personal opinion, I'm not trying to convince you of anything.

Roo said...

Katie, when was the last time you heard of that a big explosion created a world that fits together perfectly?

Unnatural Child #1 said...

Since when does this world fit together perfectly? If everything's so peachy, then why do we have wars? Why are people starving? Why is there hatred? Why are people born with genetic mutations that leave them handicapped for life, often resulting in their early deaths? Why is there so much pain and suffering? What about racism and genocide and child soldiers and disease and torture? Why are people cruel to each other? And just to spark yet another debate, why does God depend so much on our faith? Why can't He just appear on earth to prove his existence to all the agnostics or Hindus or whatever that don't believe in Him, instead of sending a prophet every so often to reassure us? To everyone reading this, this is merely for the sake of debate, I'm not saying you're wrong about your beliefs or anything.

Wow, I just reread that, and I sound even more cynical than Olive. Egads! :P
