So i sit here without my shirt on just waiting for the Alvera medicine to dry that helps my sunburn...(And it has been getting better, All though with sleepless nights and pain putting on my shirt... arg)
I sit here and think, "Wow what a day" Even though my day really started at 11:37 when i awoke from a night of tossing and turning from not finding a cool place to put my shoulder and calm down the fiery burn on body. It was a day with full filling events
I did my usual and woke up and ate Tricks cereal. Got ready to start my day by sleeping on the floor of my bathroom and listening to the water go down the shower wall and imaging a grace full stream in a meadow.
Then that dream was awakened by a pounding on my celling by my Dads footsteps and I knew i Had to get in the ice cold water to help my sunburn.
about Thirty five minuets passed by the water trickling down my back and the delight full smile from my face of satisfaction that the burn from my sunburn was going away :) and my Dad banged again, The was the second warning and i knew that i should never go past this or else i would have the water turned off! (Yes that is what happens when you have the water shut off so close in contacts at your house)
I got out and got dressed, checked my Email and went up stairs, My Mom was scrap booking and my dad i think was outside, I made my way to my moms computer and as usual played the Sims 2 for about 3 hours straight! (I can not get enough of that game!)
Then 4:00 came and well i was running a little bit late to go help out at the church!
We arrived at the church and there was a sight of huge and huge pilles of food in the lobby! It was such an amazing sight! Just the fact that God can make people bring in food that they may not need and share it with people who DO need it!
It was so cool
So i began to help unload all this food for Sister Carmen (Link Coming soon!!!)
And by the End of the day people brought in near 30,000 pounds of food!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was AMAZING
and the best part is, that that was only in 2 church services!
And tomorrow there are 3!!
Well yea so that was my day and tomorrow will be the same and even more amazing! except reverse! haha because i have to wake up at 8 and help out till 12
It should be cool to see how many pounds of food people bring in!
